Inspired by Juliette Minchin: Children’s Art Workshop

BACK

As part of Zeyrek Çinili Hamam Museum’s Children’s Learning Program, this special workshop led by Atölye Pikolo offers children the joy of exploring both art and the creative process itself.
Inspired by French artist Juliette Minchin’s exhibition Where the River Burns, young participants learn about the stories of materials such as wax, tin, and paper, and take their first steps into their own creative journeys. During the making process, they reinterpret everyday objects like brass, foil, and pencils to create their own abstract compositions.
This experience helps children develop their skills in observation, reflection, and creation, while also introducing them to artistic ways of thinking.
Each child completes their own artwork to take home, while parents enjoy a guided tour of the museum, discovering the unique story of the hammam.
