The second exhibition talk for Healing Ruins brings one of the exhibition’s artists Ahmet Doğu İpek, historian of architecture Prof. Zeynep Kuban Tokgöz and architect Nevzat Sayın together. Hosted by the exhibition’s curator Anlam de Coster, the talk titled “Stones and Spolia” traces the story of Ahmet Doğu İpek’s site-specific “Spolia” series created for Healing Ruins as well the spolia materials in the history of architecture.
