As part of Margaret R. Thompson's Temenos: Inland Sea exhibition at Zeyrek Çinili Hamam, this hands-on workshop takes inspiration from the Temenos scent developed in collaboration with Homemade Aromaterapi. Together, we will explore the relationship between our sense of smell, memory, emotion, and place, while reflecting on the transformative role of rituals in everyday life.

In the second part of the workshop, participants will create their own Temenos body scrub using rock salt and essential oils. Guided by the idea of the "threshold," each participant will blend scents that evoke a personal sense of transition and craft a cleansing body scrub to accompany their own Temenos ritual.
