Solving the Puzzle. A Blue and White Narrative
BACK
Discover a children’s workshop specially designed for the semester break, organized as part of the Zeyrek Çinili Hamam Museum Learning Program in collaboration with Şehir Dedektifi.
Solving the Puzzle. A Blue and White Narrative invites children to explore the relationship between architecture and the patterns and decorations of Zeyrek Çinili Hamam.
Throughout the workshop, children observe the role of tiles in shaping spatial experience while examining traces and clues revealed during the hamam’s restoration process. By reading the layers of a historic structure, they explore ways of rethinking and reinterpreting architectural space. Centered on the relationship between part and whole, the workshop encourages participants to use their imagination to design original motifs and transform them into patterns. At the end of the session, these patterns come together as a panel, which is then connected to the spatial layout of the hamam, allowing children to reimagine the space as a whole.
