As a protected historic monument, Zeyrek Çinili Hamam has certain architectural limitations that unfortunately prevent wheelchair and baby carriage access.

Visitor Guidelines

  • Visitors are not permitted to touch exhibited works and artifacts.
  • Smoking and bringing food or beverages into Zeyrek Çinili Hamam are not permitted.
  • Non-professional photography and video for personal use are allowed. The use of flash, tripods, and selfie sticks are not permitted without prior permission. We kindly ask visitors to respect the privacy of others while taking photographs and videos.

Zeyrek Mosque (Pantokrator Monastery)

One of the largest Byzantine religious complexes after Hagia Sophia.

Zeyrek Cistern

Part of the Pantokrator Monastery complex. The visible cistern wall dates back to the early Byzantine period, 6th century.

Valens Aqueduct (Bozdoğan Aqueduct)

A monumental Roman structure. The strongest architectural line shaping the Zeyrek skyline.

Şehzade Mosque

An early masterpiece by Mimar Sinan.

Kariye Mosque – Museum

World-renowned for its mosaics and frescoes. One of Istanbul’s most striking interiors.

Kıztaşı (Column of Marcian)

Erected in honor of Roman Emperor Marcian.

Church of St. Polyeuctus Ruins

6th-century Byzantine remains. One of Istanbul’s “hidden archaeology” spots.

Fener–Balat Streets

Colorful facades, steep lanes, and layers of different faiths and cultures. Best explored without a fixed route.
